The most common therapies available for the Androgenetic Alopecia Treatment are minoxidil and 5-alpha reductase inhibitors

Androgenetic Alopecia Treatment Market

Androgenetic Alopecia treatment is often based on determining if there is a deficiency in certain minerals. One such mineral that is commonly deficient in people with hair loss is zinc. Common signs of zinc deficiency include hair thinning and an itchy scalp. The common test to determine whether a person is zinc deficient is to take a blood test that measures the amount of zinc in the blood. In people with excessive hair loss, it is possible to see a significant deficiency in zinc, which can result in hair thinning or even complete baldness.

There are many factors that can contribute to the development of androgenetic alopecia. One of them is genetic factors. Male children are almost always at risk of developing male pattern baldness due to the high rate of women in the same condition. Androgenetic Alopecia is also known as female pattern baldness since it is almost twice as likely in females to develop this condition compared to males. Stress is another major cause of hair loss. Women who are frequently stressed suffer from male pattern baldness as well. For instance, in May 2021, a group of researchers from the Mahidol University, Bangkok, Thailand modified Skindex-29 to form its novel version Hairdex, aimed at androgenetic alopecia treatment in female patients of Germany.

Male and female patients with androgenetic alopecia have similar symptoms. The most common symptom is premature hair loss and the development of scalp bumps, known as Androgenetic Alopecia, which often does not have a clear cause. This kind of symptoms can be detected during the early stages of the disease. One of the most effective androgenetic alopecia treatment is to temporarily inhibit the production of testosterone by taking a drug called minoxidil that is applied to the scalp. Another treatment is to block the action of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by using an herb called saw palmetto.

One is the prescription drug Finasteride, which is given in the form of a pill or an injection to be taken daily. The other is a natural herbal treatment called Provillus which has a variety of herbs and vitamins in the formula that stimulates the scalp to grow healthy hair.
