A large-scale advanced battery can supply the required electricity for thousands of homes, which would not be possible with the present supply of conventional electricity. Advanced Energy Storage (AES) batteries will replace the current electricity needs of society with large-scale clean and renewable electricity which are economically viable. In addition, by replacing traditional power sources with these batteries, society can save both, money and natural resources.

For instance, in September 2021, a subsidiary of Renault Group, Mobilize, announced to launch Mobilize Charge Pass in Germany, Spain, and other European countries. This application will notify the drivers about the availability of nearby charging stations.
